Shooter of Florida teen appears uninjured in police video

George Zimmerman appears uninjured in surveillance video from inside the police station the night unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin was shot dead in Florida.

The neighborhood watch volunteer told police he acted in self-defense after Martin attacked him, bashing his head into a concrete walkway.

Police at the scene said the 28-year old shooter was bleeding from the nose and the back of the head.

Yet no blood or bruising is visible in the video released by the City of Sanford on Thursday. No blood stains are apparent on his clothes.

Zimmerman has not been arrested for the February 26 shooting.

Enraged protesters nationwide argue Zimmerman found the 17-year-old suspicious and followed him because he was black.

Zimmerman was treated by fire department responders at the scene, first aid which could have stopped any bleeding.
