Benedict visits sanctuary in Santiago de Cuba

STORY: Pope Benedict XVI prayed before the statue of the Virgin of Charity of El Cobre on Tuesday as he wrapped up his visit to the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba and prepared to head for Havana where he will preside over a mass in Revolution Square and meet with President Raul Castro.
On Wednesday, he will hold an open-air mass in Jose Marti's Revolution Square in Havana.
