Tens of thousands of Sudanese refugees have fled to South Sudan in past weeks to escape a deadly bombing campaign by government forces, a conflict described by actor George Clooney as the 'unreported war'. The Sudanese army has been shelling the Blue Nile State and Nuba mountains to flush out rebels seeking to overthrow President Omar al-Bashir and hundreds of thousands of civilians have been caught up in the crossfire.
