http://www.theresident.net - In 2008, Ikea came to Brooklyn, covered in a cloud of controversy. Residents thought it would ruin the neighborhood, taking up too much waterfront real estate, causing traffic nightmares and sucking the culture out of their turf. Ikea promised to create jobs and a state-of-the-art park for residents to enjoy. Of course, Ikea won the battle and moved in. The controversy died out. Four years later, what does the neighborhood look like?
