Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) is a militant Sunni Deobandi organization, established in the early 1980s in Jhang by terrorist Haq Nawaz Jhangvi, its stated goal is to primarily to deter major Shia influence in Pakistan in the wake of the Iranian Revolution.

Target killing of Shia leaders returned to Karachi when Senior Jafria Alliance leader Mohsin Rizvi was critically injured while his son Akmal Rizvi killed after shooters opened fire at this car in Karachi, The Shia Post reported on Friday 16 March 2012.
