Syrians return to Homs - state TV

Syrians reportedly make their way back to Homs.

Despite ongoing fighting across the country, Syrian television says local residents are returning to the Baba Amr neighbourhood of the battered city.

As the military campaign to stop the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad continues, state TV broadcasts footage of rebuilding.

It also shows weapons it says belong to "terrorists."

After nearly a month of shelling badly damaged the city, the Red Cross says authorities are still blocking aid.

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan called for more international pressure on the regime.

"Humanitarian aid corridors to Syria must be opened right away and we must heap pressure on the Syrian administration to deliver humanitarian aid to the Syrian people, especially to Homs. The Arab League decision on Syria must be implemented without wasting any more time."

Erdogan also said Assad will be held accountable for "cruelty and massacre."
