Their cars are piled on top of each other in heaps of crumpled metal after a high-speed collision late Saturday.

With about 350 passengers on board, the trains met head-on as they traveled in opposite directions on the same track.

At least 15 people are dead, and dozens more injured.

President Bronislaw Komorowski visited some of the victims and their doctors in the hospital Sunday.

One injured man tells of the horrific accident.

"There was a crash, the lights went out and everything started to fly. The carriage bent like an accordion and our legs, mine and the person next to me, were stuck very deep between seats which are normally a meter apart."

The fate of the two drivers is unknown as authorities are still identifying and searching for bodies as well as investigating the cause of the disaster.
