Fashionistas saw furs and sequins combined and a mix of long layered skirts and round mini dresses.
Happily posing with his wife at the end - Cavalli's wasn't the only headline grabbing event.
Fellow Italian designer Giorgio Armani also had a collection to show.
He went for a rock look too, showing a fun glittering range featuring blouses in bright colours.
The adrogynous outfits included a flower pinned to lapels on jackets.
