Ermanno Scervino presents collection at Milan Fashion Week

What do you get if you combine 18th century Venice with the English county of Hampshire?

Apparently this!

Italian designer Ermanno Scervino's latest collection is said to have been inspired by the worlds of both Venice and Hampshire.

As part of Milan Fashion Week his Autumn / Winter collection featured equestrian-themed outfits including short jackets, riding trousers and helmets.

Also cantering down the run way were knee-long draped skirts combined with jackets.

Meanwhile coats came with round shoulders and tight waists.

And dresses were made in macramé and neoprene.

Among the accessories - Scervino created velvet calf-boots to cover the skin.

If this sporty, elegant collection is anything to go by, fashionistas need to prepare for an Autumn of browns, black blue and green.
