Legion of Ape is a Dublin 3-piece band who play a heavy mix of Alternative Rock and Post-Punk. The band began in a damp garden shed in 2006 by brothers James and Brian Edwards and have been gigging constantly on the Dublin circuit since being joined by John "Hooper" Quinn. On 27th June 2008 Legion of Ape will take to the stage for what promises to be their biggest gig yet, at the 2008 Glastonbury Festival. The Legion will play the Leftfield Arena.
