Ghana, Upper East Region: Bednet distributions

Ghana is badly affected by malaria. It is the number one killer in the country. 8,000 nets were delivered via six related distributions in the villages of Sapeliga (1,500 LLINs), Kobore (1,000), Tomonde (1,500), Sakote (1,000), Pwaligu (1,000) and Tamperi (2,000), all in the Upper East Region of Ghana. Children under 5 and pregnant women, who are particularly vulnerable to malaria, will be the main beneficiaries.
