PRESENTED BY PAUL BROUGHT TO YOU BY
RACE CAFE -- THE ESPRESSO BAR www.racecafeonline.com.au
Six young fellows from six different backgrounds in music, ranging from heavy metal, punk rock to pop rock met each other late 2010 and despite their differences in music styles, decided to Jam it out in the garage of lead guitarists (Johnny Prefontaine) parents' house.
From the very first chord they played, the sound was going to be big. An already established rhythm section Shane Poulton (drums), Nickos Marinos (bass) and Adam Sweeney(keys, harmonica and key-tar) creating a tight guitar driven sound with Johnny's lightning licks and face melting solo's, combined with the Pop Rock melodies and harmony from the two lead singers (Ricky Holiday and Steve Steel) the sound was sure to be unique.
After their first show together at a night put on by The Pushworth Group, they impressed enough and have since been getting shows through Pushworth on a regular basis with bands such as Floating Me, Electric Horse and most notably The Smart who had just won a competition through Triple M to support Bon Jovi.
The boys have played the Brisbane leg of The Smart's tour, doing three shows in one week with them, then a month later, September 16th scoring the main support for The Smart at The HiFi in west end. After which, they were chosen to play with Mental As Anything and Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool front man) at the Bulimba Festivals Main Stage.
Got a strong finish to the year coming up, recording through October and November, playing some charity shows then finishing the year off on November 26th playing with Clint Boge's (butterfly effect singer) new project Thousand Needles In Red at the Mansfield Rock Arena, after which they will focus on getting all the post production for there self-titled EP done. KEEP AN EAR OUT!
