The band formed at the close of 2007 as the brainchild of Kiran Hungin, a singer/songwriter from the north-east. Kiran had been doing acoustic gigs on the London circuit for the previous two years, but couldnt fight that niggling feeling that something was missing...
I have had the good fortune to work with some amazing musicians, but I had just always craved that feeling of having a musical family; a little crew to join me in the the ups, downs and everything in between. And to be honest, I just want a band behind my tunes.. to add that much needed element of kick-ass-ness that I want!
So the night owls were born, and can now be found gigging around London and other parts of the UK.
Im so happy with the band. It is honestly the first time I just feel like the music is totally how I envisaged it from the early demos, when I was playing only a piano part, but hearing much more in my head. For us now, the real work begins, but also the fun!... along with crossing our fingers for that little gift from lady luck that every artist hopes will flow their way....
