Ali & The Dts are a 7 piece voodoo death rattle blues band form Dublin, encorporating the music styles of such artists as Screamin Jay Hawkins, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf & James Brown to name but a few.They gig relentlessly around Ireland and have built up a strong following with their headline shows in renound venues like The Bleu Note of Capel street, The Gaietyof St Stephens Green, and the Mezz Bar of Temple Bar. This year The Dts also landed slots supporting Chicago Blues legends Bobby Dixon (son of the notorious Chess Records Willie Dixon, Boney Fields (legendary trumpet player), and noted Dublin act The International Blues band. They recently played to 200 full capacity at The Backstairs Blues festival in Enniscorthy, where they had special guest legendary saxaphone player John Earle (Thin Lizzy, Graham Parker band, Ian Drury & The Blockheads) play with them for their entire set.
