Testimony given by Frances Bean Cobain in 2009 detailing the drug use of her mother, Courtney Love, has been made public by The Fix, an addiction recovery website.

Frances Bean — whose father is Kurt Cobain, the late frontman of the '90s grunge band Nirvana — alleged at the time that Love was hopelessly addicted to prescription medications like Xanax and Adderall. "She rarely eats," lamented the concerned teen.

Love allegedly started at least three accidental fires by falling asleep in bed with a lit cigarette and contributed to the deaths of two household pets. Frances claims her cat was found dead in piles of trash, and a dog died after eating loose pills.

The testimony was part of court proceedings that granted custody of the then 17-year-old Frances Bean to her grandmother and aunt. The judge in the case also issued a restraining order against Love, forbidding any contact with her daughter.

Love, of course, paints a different picture of her time on drugs. She told Maer Roshan, the founder of The Fix who spent more than year talking to the rockstar-actress, that doing crack made her better at complex math.

The interviews are featured in an e-book titled Courtney Comes Clean.
