In this episode Bryn visits a family in rural Romania as they carry out their annual pig killing - a tradition long since dead in England! As well as helping to prepare the pork, he visits a local carpenter who makes life-size models of the machines designed by Leonardo da Vinci.

In this new series, English volunteer Bryn Watkins explores the Hajdú-Bihar and Bihor regions of Hungary and Romania, learning about the culture, nature and food of the area. With versions in English, Hungarian and Romanian, the series will be shown on local TV networks across the region from late 2011.
