Michael Jackson honored in cement

Michael Jackson's three children pressed their famous father's shoes and a sequined glove into the cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Thursday (January 26) to pay tribute to the late singer and to mark the Los Angeles run of a Cirque du Soleil production featuring his music.
Jackson's children -- Prince, 14; Paris, 13; and Blanket, 9 -- were joined by other members of the singer's family at the packed ceremony, which was also attended by stars such as Quincy Jones, and Justin Bieber.

The event included a performance by the cast of the "Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour," a Cirque du Soleil show that opens in Los Angeles on January 27.
Jackson, 50, died June 25, 2009, from an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol. His personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for administering the sedative to the singer at his rented Holmby Hills estate and sentenced to four years behind bars.
