The Temple Mount: What is Brewing Beneath the Surface?

The Waqf Islamic Trust is digging a trench for electric infrastructure on the sacred Temple Mount.  As in 1999, it is doing so without proper archeological supervision, and is potentially destroying priceless archeological artifacts.  Infolive.tv went up to the Mount to try and film beneath the surface of the contested site, but was barred from doing so by the Waqf.  Meanwhile, a group of Israeli archeologists has taken upon itself the task of sifting and sorting through the rubble discarded by the Waqf in 1999, during the renovations of the underground caverns of the Temple Mount.  08/29/07
