http://www.nma.tv/ Tunisia has a new government following the recent overthrow of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali by crowds of angry mobs. The protests, sparked by the tragic suicide of a desperate young graduate, spread quickly via social media to become a focal point for national frustrations. The flames were fanned by years of resentment at the huge £3.5 billion fortune amassed by the Ben Ali family, who were nicknamed the mafia. That anger increased after details of the Ben Ali's daughter's opulent lifestyle were revealed by Wikileaks. Ben Ali took refuge in Saudi Arabia. His wife is reportedly in Dubai after allegedly stealing the national gold reserves, while his daughters are holed up in Disneyland. The sudden collapse of this seemingly stable authoritarian regime may have other North African leaders worried about the future.
