Solar airplane completes 24-hour journey

The test proves the single-seat aircraft can collect enough energy from the sun during the day to stay afloat at night. The airplane is called Solar Impulse. During the day, it can reach altitudes has high as 9,000 meters to collect energy, dropping to 1,500 meters altitudes at night.
