Rinox has install a new defence grid called 'Sentinel' into the Axalon, but when Rattrap provoke Dinobot to attack him, he smash the control console before Rinox install the 'friend or foe' program. Now 'Sentinel' is treating everyone including the maximals has hostile. As the other maximal escape, Rattrap stays behind to try and shut down 'Sentinel'.
Elsewhere, Terrorsaur and Waspinator lead by Blackarachnia try to gain access to the Maximal base by placing a bomb underneath it.
