Murdered Indian student cremated

The body of Indian student, Anuj Bidve, who was shot dead in the United Kingdom last month was brought to his hometown of Pune in India.
Local residents joined his family in the funeral procession leading to the crematorium.
Earlier his parents had travelled to the UK to retrieve his body and pray at the spot where their son was shot.
Bidve was shot at point blank range in the early hours on December 26 in Salford.
He had been visiting the area with friends over Christmas.
The postgraduate student later died in hospital.
A 20 year old man, Kiaran Stapleton, who gave his name in court as "Psycho Stapleton" has been charged with his murder.
