The "Natural Woman" singer and her fiancé hope to marry later this year on a sandy Miami beach with a reception onboard a private yacht afterwards, confirmed a spokeswoman for Franklin on Monday.
The legendary singer of hits "Higher and Higher", "Chain of Fools" and "Baby I Love You" overcame a mysterious health scare last January, then shed 85 pounds on the road to better health.
In a statement, Franklin they were looking at June or July, and joked that she wasn't pregnant.
