Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close premiere in New York

Hollywood heavyweights Sandra bullock and Tom Hank have teamed up for emotional drama, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
The duo play a married couple, who's family life is changed for ever by the 9/11 terror attacks.
SOUNDBITE (English) Actress Sandra Bullock, saying:
"We were given access to the voicemails left behind by the people who were in the tower for their loved ones. And it was a great honor to have been able to listen to them. And it was a great inspiration to hear the love and support and strength that those people had who were in the towers and the message they wanted to leave behind knowing that they were probably not going to make it out alive."
Hanks' character is one of those who perishes, and the film follows the story of his son - Oscar - as he tries to trace a lock left by his dad.
A father himself, at the New York premiere, Tom explained how important family life is to him.
SOUNDBITE (English) Actor, Tom Hanks, saying:
"Having kids helps you for all of life. No matter what you do and no matter how you spend your time. Having kids is, look I don't know what life is without it."
While Sandra's character has to cope with the loss of her partner and the challenge of being a single parent - Oscar remains deteremined to find the missing lock, a connection to his father.
Despite being snubbed by the Golden Globes, this movie is tipped for Academy success.
Out in the States on Christmas day and nationwide January 20, make sure you have a box of tissues at the ready.
