Why did I choose Islam? Why should anybody choose to be an Atheist or Humanist? Why I'm neither a Christian nor Muslim? Representing the Muslim perspective was Adam Deen: Adam is a former Islam channel presenter and intellectual activist who has been working in the field of Muslim apologetics for almost a decade. He has contributed to debates on issues ranging from ethics, to religious philosophy and theology. He is a member of the Muslim Dawah Initiative its formed of members from the Muslim community with experience in public speaking, apologetics, polemics, research and community work. He is currently completing a degree in Philosophy at Birkbeck University. He runs his blog www.adamdeen.blogspot.com Representing the Jewish side was Rabbi YY: Rabbi YY is one of the most sought after Jewish speaker in the Jewish World. He regularly speaks in the UK, United States, France Belgium, Gibraltar, South Africa and Israel. He is a regular broadcaster on National UK TV & Radio and is a regular on the "Terry Wogan Show" which is the UK's largest Radio Show with 9 million listeners. He has written programmes for both National Radio and TV. Four years ago the 'Independent' Newspaper cited him along with Tony Blair's Mentor, as being among five people in Britain to turn to for advice. He writes for 'HaModia' and is a senior lecturer for The Gateways organization in the United States as well as the Jewish Learning exchange UK His main position, is campus Rabbi for the North West of England serving over two thousand students. His book 'Dancing Trough Time' is available worldwide and is now an Audio Book in Eight CD's produced by Tri Star Audio Books, as is his second book, 'That's Life." His Third Book "On the Derech" is due for publication in 2010." From over 600 Lectures, topics include: - 'Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows.
