Did Jesus die on the Cross? Was Jesus Christ Crucified as a Willing Sacrifice for the sins of the world? Did Jesus get crucified according to Islam? Did Jesus Christ really rise from the dead? Is there evidence that Jesus rose from the dead? Representing the Muslim perspective was Shabir Ally: Shabir Ally has earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, with a specialization in Biblical Literature, and an M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Quranic Exegesis. He is now in his third year of Ph.D studies in Quranic Exegesis at the University of Toronto. He is the president of the Islamic Information & Dawah Centre International in Toronto where he functions as Imam. He travels internationally to represent Islam in public lectures and interfaith dialogues. He explains Islam on a weekly television program called "Let the Quran Speak. Representing the Christian side was Rev. Prof. David Seccombe, Rev David is Principal of George Whitfield College, South Africa He holds BSc Hons from the University of New England, LTh Hons from Moore College & Australian College of Theology), BD Hons from London University), Diploma of Religious Education from Melbourne College of Divinity) and PhD from Cambridge University). His PhD dissertation is published as Possessions and the Poor in Luke-Acts (Linz: SNTU, 1982). Other books include Dust to Destiny: Reading Romans Today (Sydney: Aquila, 1996), The King of God's Kingdom: A Solution to the Puzzle of Jesus (Carlisle: Paternoster, 2002). Formerly Rector of St Matthew's Anglican Church in Shenton Park, Western Australia (1979 - 1992), He was appointed Principal of GWC in 1993. He is an Affiliate Professor of New Testament at North-West University. David is married to Lorraine and they have a son and three daughters.
