STORY: Announced in Beverly Hills, California by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the best dramatic director nominees include Woody Allen for "Midnight in Paris," George Clooney for "The Ides of March," Michel Hazanavicius for "The Artist," Martin Scorsese for "Hugo," and Alexander Payne for "The Descendants."
The Golden Globe Awards will be given out in a gala ceremony on Jan. 15, hosted by British comedian Ricky Gervais and telecast live on the NBC network.
