Haiti One Year Later

It is one year since the devastating earthquake hit Haiti, killing around 230,000 people. With hundreds and thousands fleeing Port-au-Prince in the aftermath of the quake, Christian Aid is focusing its reconstruction efforts in rural and coastal communities. Building hurricane and earthquake resistant houses and helping families find ways of making a living, our work is offering the chance for people to start their lives afresh.
