Where does Christianity come from? Who founded Christianity: Jesus or Paul? Representing the Muslim perspective was Shabir Ally: Shabir Ally has earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, with a specialization in Biblical Literature, and an M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Quranic Exegesis. He is now in his fourth year of Ph.D studies in Quranic Exegesis at the University of Toronto. He is the president of the Islamic Information & Dawah Centre International in Toronto where he functions as Imam. He travels internationally to represent Islam in public lectures and interfaith dialogues. He explains Islam on a weekly television program called "Let the Quran Speak. He's the author of the book " Is Jesus God? The Bible Says No ! " Representing the Christian side was Dr. V George Shilington, George was born and grew up in Armagh, Northern Ireland. Prior to his academic pursuits, he spent six years on the home farm in Ireland. He and his wife, Grace, have two grown children, Ralph in Ottawa and Brad in Winnipeg, and four grandsons. George and Grace attend Fort Garry Mennonite Brethren Church, Winnipeg. He preaches frequently in various churches, has served as interim pastor and on Church Council, and conducts seminars on special topics. George received his B.Th. from Central Baptist College; his B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University; his M.Div. from Central Baptist Seminary; his M.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University; and his Ph.D. from McMaster University. Before coming to CMU, George was Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at Emmanuel Bible College, Mennonite Brethren Bible College, and Concord College. George has delivered special lectures in his field at Harvard University; New College, University of Edinburgh; St. Andrews University (Scotland); University of Wales; Trinity College (Dublin); at a mosque in Ottawa; and at Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary, Fresno CA.
