The military strongman who ruled Panama in the 80's is returning home a convicted murderer.
Former dictator Manuel Noriega has been extradited from France after more than two decades in French and American prisons.
He was convicted for drug trafficking, money laundering and mulitple murders.
He beheaded a doctor and executed at least nine officers behind a failed coup.
On his return to Panama City, the 77-year-old will be taken to a jungle jail to begin serving another 20 years for killing regime opponents.
After pushing his way to the top of the military, Noriega became the country's de facto leader in 1983.
Noriega, who trained and worked with the CIA, was captured in the 1989 U.S. invasion of Panama.
