La Mer

This is my version of the original Charles Trenet version from 1939 . I do like the swingy, Bobby Darin version, but for me, the original song is in a class of its own. It also has the distinction of being the first song to make the hair on my neck bristle - Absolutely wonderful !!
I hope I do it justice with my pidgin French
