Eddie Murphy steps down as host for academy awards

The Oscar event seems to have run into a little trouble. First director Brett Ratner, a producer for the event, made a gay racial slur that cost him the position. And now Eddie Murphy has stepped down as the host of the 84th Academy Awards.
