Protesters arrested after scuffles with police

Several hundred Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protesters in New York marched against big banks on Saturday (November 5), with some protesters getting into scuffles with the police resulting in over a dozen arrests.
The march began at Zuccotti park, where the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement is centered, and headed towards Foley Square in downtown Manhattan, an area surrounded by federal courts.
At the forefront of the march was a giant puppet of U.S. President Barack Obama. The anti Wall Street movement said in a statement that the reason they were marching against Obama was "to help expose the looming cash-for-immunity deal between the Obama administration and big banks". Protesters made reference to what they described as a "backroom deal between Obama and bankers" that they claim will give the bankers "broad immunity". At Foley Square, surrounded by large contingents of police, OWS protesters demonstrated alongside people who had come out in support of the movement.
