On Friday, the classical Chinese dance company Shen Yun Performing Arts held a special show at the State Theatre in New Jersey. Shen Yun brings to life stories from ancient China's past... and present. Audience members gave the performance a standing ovation. Here's what some of them had to say.

On Friday, October 28th, Shen Yun Performing Arts performed at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The show featured the company's best performances from the past five years.

[Allen Davis, Retired Military Officer]:
"It's the best show I think I've ever seen in my life. I'm 80-years-old, and I've never seen a show this good."

Many audience members were from the arts community. William Grosso was in New York for NTD's International Chinese Vocal Competition. He also came to see Shen Yun.

[William Grosso, President, Sicily Opera Academy]:
"All the music, singers, dancers, everything was perfect."

Musician Frank Angruloi says the dedication of the performers is evident.

[Frank Angruloi, Musician]:
"Well it's a very dedicated group of talented artists, and they travel the world, and they must dedicate their life to doing this as well as they do."

Natalia Stepanova is a dance teacher with 20 years of experience across the world. She took her students and their parents to the show.

[Natalia Stepanova, Dance Teacher]:
"I was watching the reaction of my students. They couldn't bring their eyes from the stage, because it's such a unique mix of computer graphics, which attract children and help them better understand the idea of choreography and give them the beautiful historical lessons, of course five thousand years, and you can sense it. You can feel it in every move."

Shen Yun's new 2012 tour will start off with shows in Dallas, Texas, December 16 through 18.
