West coast of Greenland

On October 5, the Air Transat flight TS 299 from Bâle/Mulhouse to Montrèal took a more northerly path than usual to avoid what was going to be rougher weather to the south. We were rewarded by some beautiful views of Greenland, particulaly at the east coast, but also here as we left the west coast behind. What you see here is just west of Fiskenaes, which is located at about 63 degrees of latitude. Leaving Greenland behind, the plane passes over a cloud-shrouded Davis Strait, and the next land we see will be Canada. In spite of this detour, the flight still landed at exactly the scheduled time, 16h40 !
