Saumur, Juillet 1988. Parade d'un détachement de l'armée du comte de Rochambeau comme en 1780 / 1781. Une reconstitution historique dont tout le mérite revient aux Américains. Il s'agissait de la préparation d'un spectacle donné à Vendôme.
In mid-July 1780, the Comte de Rochambeau arrived at the head of the vanguard of the French expeditionary force sent by Louis XVI to help the insurgents under the command of George Washington. In 1781 he made the junction with the troops of Lafayette and participates in the defeat of Charles Cornwallis at Yorktown.
Saumur, in July 1988. Parade of a detachment of the army of the Comte de Rochambeau as in 1780/1781. A pageant that all the credit goes to the Americans. This was the preparation of a performance at Vendome.
