http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK - When we learned Vivienne Tam was doing her New York Fashion Week Fall 2011 runway based on Chinese opera, we were thinking it would be way dramatic. Fortunately, the top designer remained quiet for the most part. There were overembellished garments, but they were canceled out by the beautiful structured collars on the coats. The designer stuck to jackets with pointy shoulders, tweed, and deep fall colors that made a quiet statement.
