Jean Paul Gaultier abandons tradition

If you've ever thought there's no creativity on the catwalk - then you haven't meet Jean-Paul Gaultier.
The French designer showed his spring/summer collection with an absence of music and with models reading out facts about the clothes.
Adding to the informality, Gaultier recruited two non-model tattooed women to take to the runway.
The clothes themselves featured tattoo-like prints on sheer fabrics, giving the illusion that models were made of tattoos.
Models' hairs were done up like pin-up girls from the Forties - but accompanied with the tattoos and piercings, added to a "bad girl" image - no doubt loved by Gaultier.
Paris Fashion Week ends on Wednesday (October 5).
