Bringing down the cattle to Rinn - Almabtrieb in Rinn

On September 11th 2011 the farmers from and around Rinn (near Innsbruck) started to bring the cattle down from the mountain pastures. For this event every cow is getting decorated with a traditional headdress and a cowbell before they arrive back to the stable. On this weekend people also celebrated the Harvest Festival to thank for the good yield. You can see these kind of events every year all over Tyrol! So maybe you join us next year?
