I've found many workshop participants are uncomfortable performing hands-on abdominal work, i.e., pelvic and respiratory diaphragm releases and sometimes even superficial belly techniques. This seems particularly true when working with pregnant clients/patients. Pregnancy clients often suffer from low back pain. it is important to keep the pelvis in a balanced state during the pregnancy. When the pelvic bones are balanced and aligned properly, the uterus if able to enlarge symmetrically with the growing fetus
