Under fire in Homs.
Amateur video out of Syria appears to show Syrian forces taking aim at a body lying on the street.
The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters, comes amid reports that dozens have been killed in Homs this week.
Residents say the assaults are concentrated on old districts that have seen daily street demonstrations demanding the removal of President Bashar al-Assad.
The crackdown comes as the Arab League said that its secretary general will visit Syria Saturday and Arab foreign ministers will meet next week to convey concerns over the violence.
More footage out of Homs appears to show defected Syrian soldiers who have joined ranks with protesters.
A diplomat in Syria told Reuters that low-level army defections appear to be on the rise but so far have had little impact on the 220,000-strong force.
Footage purportedly from eastern Syria shows bloodstains on a stair case. Rooms inside the house are lined with rubble. Outside the house, burnt out cars and the remnants of a motorcycle.
And still the demonstrations go on. Assad, has repeatedly said he is facing a foreign conspiracy to divide Syria.
