Crank-Sensor-Operation

IMPORTANT: The crank sensor input signal is the most important signal in a modern vehicle. Without it the engine will not start. The crank sensor measures crankshaft position and rate of change. The ECM then synchronizes this signal to the CAM sensor and determines injection pulse, timing, fuel delivery, idle speed and everything else needed to run the engine.
