A Poem for Casey Anthony Jurors

I thought ill of the mother for
only a moment when

immediately my strength failed me like
I was poisoned in body and

spirit faltering behind a
shadow of a doubt for justice

longing for a smiling ending
like only sensitive people

can. And the sun sunk into the
ocean never to rise again.
