Le duo FCAN, composé de Matsumoto Mensch et d’une marionnette Gliedermann géante, fait de la techno vintage pour le futur. Le premier album « RPEX » est un hommage à l’année 1991, année où la techno était encore intacte – avant Eurodance, mais après la pop synthé des années 80. Selon FCAN, 1991 marque un tournant pour la musique électronique. Le goût du duo pour cette année est mis en évidence par les visuels : carte de test TV , graphisme 8 bit d’anciennes consoles et codes DOS!

The duo FCAN, consisting of Mensch Matsumoto and a giant Gliedermann doll, make 20-year-old vintage techno for the future. The debut album “RPEX” is a tribute to the year 1991, when techno was still unspoiled – before Eurodance, but after the synth pop of the 80s. According to FCAN 1991 marks a turning point for electronic music. The duo’s fondness for that year is highlighted by the visuals: TV test cards, 8 mb aesthetics and old DOS codes!
