Mladic fit to stand trial in The Hague

After medical examinations, former Bosnian Serb military leader Ratko Mladic has been declared fit to appear before the tribunal in The Hague on Friday. Following his arrest after 16 years on the run, his son and his defence lawyer had claimed he was unfit to stand.
