"Crossing the Friendship Bridge" Episode 4 of the Isha Kailash Sojourn 2010 Travel Video Journal.
On our fourth day, we finally embarked for the China Boarder. After an early wakeup, we boarded the busses and made the scenic yet windy (and often bumpy) route to the "Friendship Bridge," the boarder crossing to China.
After a successful crossing we reached the boarder town, Zhangmu, where we would spend the night. After getting instructions to keep us healthy we had some food and took a walk thru the Zhangmu streets. Today, we meet more Yatris in our group, including our Kailash guide, Rajender, Rashid, Dr. Veena and Vidya who has been dreaming of going to Kailash since she was a child.
Next stop... Saga and Paryang, TIbet.
