What is Infected Toenail?

Our toenails are small part of our body that we must take care at all times because neglecting of such will sometimes result to infections and complications. Due to lack of toenail hygiene and nail care, we experience infected toenail like ingrown toenail which is commonly faced by the people and some infections caused by fungus. That is why proper hygiene is encouraged to everyone to avoid circumstances that might result to severe condition. Infected toenail is not that dangerous when one has a strong immune system and is not diabetic because the body can easily cure itself with the aid of some treatments. What is dangerous is that if you suffer from diabetes. The wound will not heal that fast or sometimes will not heal at all. Small wounds cause by infected toenail become bigger and create complications that will lead to worse diagnosis in the future. We usually have an infected toenail because of leaving our feet wet and not dying it well.
