Adam Karpowicz and Dr. Murat Özveri on TV-2005

Adam Karpowicz is undoubltly one of the best traditional bowyers -if not the best- who has been making Turkish Ottoman bows for 30 years. With his exceptional scientific approach to the art he has written numerous articles and a book. He has also taught the art the first Turkish traditional bowyer of Republic era, Mr. Süleyman Cem Dönmez, opened an important path to revival of Turkish traditional archery. Mr. Karpowicz visited Istanbul at the end of 2005 for his research on the bows in Topkapı Palace Museum's collection. He and Murat Özveri were hosted by a national TV channel, TGRT Haber, to talk about the revival of Turkish traditional archery and the amazing Ottoman bow.
