Security situation worsening in Balochistan

Balochistan, March 14: The Supreme Court of Pakistan's three-member apex court bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikar Muhammad Chaudhry directed the federal and Balochistan governments to take practical steps about the deteriorating security situation in the province on March 2, 2011. Such directives have also been issued in the past, but in so-called democratic Pakistan, where the army is responsible to no one but itself, court orders are often not implemented. It's a reality that Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Military Army (MI) and Frontier Constabulary (FC) are involved in forced abductions, killings and atrocities against the Baloch people.
