Harlistas: An American Journey is a first-of-its kind documentary that follows the emotional journeys of Latino Harley motorcycle riders in the U.S. as they seek adventure, camaraderie and the achievement of the American Dream. The full-feature film is a partnership between Harley-Davidson and award-winning director Alfredo de Villa and reflects Alfredo's own passion for the Harley-Davidson brand, Latino culture and the bond of families.
A national casting call led to the selection of a diverse mix of Harlistas who had dynamic stories to tell, resulting in a film narrative that authentically showcases Latino motorcycling culture. The real-life characters from Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, embark upon personal journeys that include South Dakota, the Pacific Coast, Los Angeles, Queens NY and Chihuahua, Mexico.
